Carly Cunningham, D.D.S., M.S.
What I love most about being an orthodontist is watching my patients blossom as we transform their teeth into beautiful straight smiles.
My team and I treat each patient as a member of our own family. Orthodontic treatment involves spending so much time together so I enjoy getting to know my patients and their families so well. In addition, when our patients start at an early age, I have the privilege of watching them grow up.
Together, my team and I always aim to create a warm, relaxed, trusting, and caring environment where patients are safe to learn and ask questions. Our new patients recognize right away that they will receive only the highest level of care.
Education and Continuing Education
My educational background includes:
- University of Texas at Austin, Bachelor of Arts, 2000
- Texas A&M Baylor College of Dentistry, Doctor of Dental Surgery, 2004
- Texas A&M Baylor College of Dentistry, Orthodontic Certificate, 2006
Remaining professionally active and at the forefront of my calling is essential to me. Consequentially, I take my continuing education requirements and those of my team quite seriously.
I retain affiliation with and stay active in multiple professional organizations including:
- American Association of Orthodontists
- American Dental Association
- Capital Area Dental Society
- Texas Dental Association
Family and Free Time
For more than five years I have lived in Dripping Springs, TX, with my husband Russell Cunningham, an oral surgeon and native of the town. Interestingly enough, both he and I have dental family backgrounds. I even worked for my dad, an orthodontist in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, for two and a half years before we moved to Dripping Springs, TX.
Russell and I have two daughters, Camryn and Stormy, and a dog, Tatum. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, working out, knitting, and snow skiing.
